Darth Vader wanna be

Emily tells me randomly one day, "Mom. I want to be Darth Vader when I grow up!"

Umm...ok. What do you even say to that?!

We were eating lunch and Avery shouts out, "Wait guys. We forgot to go to the wedding!"

"Uh, who's wedding? What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Mine!" she says. " I am marrying this chip!"


( What?? She's had wedding bells on her mind since the day she was born).

We were reading scriptures last night and Avery tooted and Ryan was like, "Oh man, Avery that stinks!" And she goes,  "mmmm, that smells kind of good."

What Chocolate Does to Girls...

Dad picked up the girls from TaVaci and Avery had gotten some chocolate from Sis. Cook and said aloud in the car, I have a date with destiny! As she is staring down her chocolate crossed eyes while drooling.

Emily: Mommy, do you have a baby?

Me: You are my baby.

Emily: No, in your tummy?

Me: Do I look like I have a baby in my tummy?

Emily: Yes.

Me:    :/  (kids can be so brutally honest sometimes)
